Important notes on pickup, payment and completion

Where and when can I pick up the item?

• Pick-up address and contact phone number are sent to your registered ebay email address immediately (!) after you purchase the item. Please give it at least about 10 min. after your purchase for our email to come through before requesting further information.
  
• Before you come by to pick up the desk it is essential you give us a call and book an appointment. Without an appointment we cannot guarantee that we'll be at the warehouse when you arrive.
  
• During the week pick up is usually possible with an appointment during regular business hours (9am - 5pm, sometimes later...).
  
• On the weekends pick-up is limited to times when someone is at the warehouse (usually half a day Sat or Sun).
  

Does the box fit in my car?

• The desk is flat packed with the measures of the box provided above under "Package dimensions".
• As a rough guidance, a station waggon and bigger will do. Pickup trucks are also Ok. 
• Be aware, there is no way to get the desk into a standard car (Ford Falcon, VW Golf etc.), unless you have a big boot and you can fold down both back seats. Even then you should take the measurements above and make sure it fits...
  

What to bring when I pick up the item?

• Cash or (!)
  
• a printed paypal receipt (in case you paid upfront via paypal)
  
  

• We don't recommend it, but generally yes. The following conditions will apply:
  
• The item needs to be paid upfront via paypal
• You will have to organise pickup and delivery with a courier of your choice (the courier is usually happy to ring our warehouse directly to arrange a pick-up time).
  
• We will double-check the item leaves here in perfect condition but will not take any responsibility for damage during transport
• If the item gets to you damaged, you need to contact and sort it out with your courier. Insurance is therefore recommended!
• Please ask for the cost of shippment before you buy the item. Due to weight and dimensions of the box shipping costs are substantial!
