New Howard 1.35m Slasher heavy duty up to 45hp tractor

Up for bids is one only brand new 4ft 6in (1.35m) Howard 135 Nugget slasher with adjustable side skids.

Australian manufactured, very sturdy construction, 4 mm top deck strongly reinforced underneath, adjustable cutting level from 10 mm to 75 mm. Suits tractors 28 to 45 hp with Category 1, 3point linkage. Gearbox rated at 40 hp input.  Heavy duty cutter bar able to slash bushes & growth to 35mm dia. Supplied with drive shaft including a slip-clutch (to protect the tractor PTO), pins and all the safety covers.

The slasher can be offset by simply unbolting the linkage structure, and re-bolting it in the offset mounting position. Please note that some minor assembly work is required if the slasher is to be transported (the linkage brackets etc are supplied loose for transport).

Also please note that an over-run clutch may be required on some tractors, to prevent the slasher inertia from pushing the tractor through the PTO shaft. The over-run clutches are available at an extra $ 100 if required.
