Matchitecture was created by Quebec based pharmacist Roland Quinton.

What began as a constructing hobby some 50 years ago. Developed into a passion that after 22 years of experimentation became the foundation of Matchitecture.

Roland had the tools made and created the construction Technique now used for Matchitecture. The matches then became Microbeams.

In the early 90's, Roland realised that he had the beginnings of a construction game and named it Matchitecture.

Now with the development team at Bo-Jeux the fourth generation of Matchitecture has become a reality that is continuously being improved upon.

Kits range in size from 7,500 pieces to 500 pieces and come complete with their plan, Matchitecture cutter, tweezers and glue.

Starting with a single element, the MICROBEAM, you'll create amazing constructions. MATCHITECTURE is an easy and exciting technique: you simply need to cut and glue MICROBEAMS together, according to the plans. The resulting pieces are then assembled to create a 3D design.
