One of the great advantages of this trumpet is the quality of the valves. Valves are the heart of a trumpet and poor quality valves will mean the trumpet will soon become unplayable. The valves in this trumpet are made from monel material. Monel is a white copper-nickel alloy that is acid and corrosive resistant. It is also much harder wearing. In short it means your trumpet will probably outlast you!

The use of monel valves in this trumpet as a standard feature instead of an optional upgrade as many other instrument makers offer means that your trumpet will retain that new feel for many years to come and save you the cost of expensive repairs or replacement.

Rose Leadpipe

Another feature of the Mesinna trumpet is the rose lead pipe as you can see in the photos below. The use of a rose lead pipe has several advantages; it improves the tone of the trumpet and the alloy used helps resist tarnishing. It is also harder than brass and therefore resists dents. Dents in the lead pipe affect the tone of a trumpet.
