Ideal for off-shore communications, this watertight UM425VHF is the flagship of all VHF marine models. The watertight radio housing is certified to meet the worldwide JIS6 water-resistance specification*. It has a rugged waterproof and submersible speaker microphone, meeting the world JIS7 specification^ and includes Channel Select, One-Touch 16/9 and Triple Watch Select Keys.

Equipped with dual speakers for better sound clarity, the UM425VHF has one speaker at the front of the unit and a second speaker built into the microphone handpiece.

The DSC Class D function allows for selective calls to any vessel with a DSC marine radio. A Mobile Maritime Service Identity (MMSI) number is required to use DSC3. Send or display position information with the connection of an optional GPS receiver or optional chart plotter. Send an Emergency Distress signal at the touch of the Red Emergency button; this includes your MMSI number and GPS position.

The UM425VHF allows you to boost the transmission power from 1 watt to 25 watts for maximum transmission distance. The Extra Large LCD Display and Keypad is backlit for easy viewing at night or in low light situations. The microphone and controls are made out of non slip rubberised material making it comfortable and secure to handle.

	Can I pick up my item?
	Yes. All orders can be picked up at our Gawler retail showroom. Items can be paid for at the time of collection or pre-paid. Pickup times are Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm. Please contact us 24-48 hours before pickup so we can have your item picked and ready for collection. Some items are not available for pickup immediately (as they must be transferred fom our warehouse) so we do require prior notice.
	What payment methods do you accept?

	When we dispatch your item, you will receive an email from us with your parcel tracking details. If it has been dispatched by Australia Post, it can be tracked at www.eparcel.com.au. If the item has been dispatched via a courier, the tracking details and website will be located in the email we send. Please check the Australia Post website for expected delivey times to your location. Please note that we can only lodge an enquiry with Australia Post 10 days after the item was sent.

	We ship 95% of items via Australia Post's Registered eParcel directly from our warehouse. Goods will generally be packed for dispatch within 3-4 days during weekdays from receipt of verified and cleared payment. We strongly suggest you complete checkout promptly to ensure your name and address details are correct and up to date.
	Certain items are either too long or heavy for Australia Post. In this event, your item will be shipped via a courier. This will be clearly stated in the listing. Due to different freight costs to different destinations, we will calculate costs once the auction (or Buy It Now) has finished. If you would lke a quote on freight costs prior to placing a bid, please contact us.
	Australia Post's eParcel system requires us to have your full name or business name, and correct shipping details. In the event that we do not have this information (it has not been provided to eBay) we will contact you via the eBay messaging system. As soon as we have the correct information we will dispatch your item.
	Parcels are sent via Registered eParcel which requires a signature on delivery for your security, and is completely trackable. Australia Post will leave a post office collection card if no one is at the destination to sign for the parcel, and your item will be ready to collect from your local post office. Australia Post quote 2-7 business days to deliver to most metro areas. Rural areas can take 10 days or longer, for more information, please contact Australia Post or visit their website for details. Time frame from purchase to delivery at your doorstep can be 10-14 days.
	Although we take great care with packaging your item, accidents do occur. We offer freight and handling insurance, as we accept no responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. If you take freight and handling insurance, your item comes damaged in transit or never arrives, you are protected. Without freight and handling insurance, any loss or damage claim arising from transport or handling must claimed directly through Australia Post at the nearest post office to destination by the purchaser. We accept no responsibility for any items damaged in transit if insurance is not accepted at checkout.
	Pick-up is available after prior arrangement from our retail store, as stock must be transferred from the warehouse to the retail store. You must supply us with at least 48-72 hours notice, and strictly between 9am - 5pm Tuesday to Friday to avoid disappointment. Pickup is not available Mondays, weekends or after business hours. You must provide us a copy of your ebay paperwork for proof of identity
	In the rare event that a item is temporarily unavailable or out of stock from our warehouse, a staff member will contact you as soon as practically possible, so we can advise of the anticipated delay. If requested, we will provide a full and immediate refund.
Postage costs quoted in listings is inclusive of postal cost, registration for tracking, packaging and handling, and courier handling fees to Australia Post in processing your eBay purchase. We are contracted to Australia Post via an electronic eParcel system, and they collect 95% of items directly from our warehouse under this agreement. Our postage costs are NOT negotiable, nor is our method of transit.
