A. Yes the Pure unit will pick up all the digital channels SD and HD channels that are broadcast in your local area, Australia wide. Q. What benefit will get if I have a normal CRT type TV?
A. The main benefits for this type of TV will be increased picture quality, clarity, improved reception and access to all the new HD channels broadcasting with extra programs, features and content.These channels are not available on Standard Definition (SD) Set Top Boxes or CRT, LCD or Plasma type Tv's without an HD tuner inbuilt. * Important update with this model is the ability to view programs full screen on a 4:3 ratio type tv (centre cut). Rather than viewing programs in 16:9 leaving black bars top and bottom the image will be displayed full screen without stretching. This feature is not relevant to widescreen type tv's.
