NEW but not in bag. Covered in dust and that slippery protectant oil (that's why it doesn't look shiny in the photo).  The 'green thing' is the set-up spacer (you remove when installed).  The 'red thing' is the set-up sticker advising how far up from the chainring it should be (also remove when installed).

A: No you don't need to break the chain. You can open up the rear of the derailleur cage by removing one phillips-head screw. Cheers Gemma

 Q: title says 31.8 but description is 34.? Can you please confirm the seat tube diameter that this is designed for. Do you still have stock in both sizes? Regards AlanB
A: Your choice of size - I have oodles in either. Most have the pinch bolt (for band clamp) missing now thought (standard 4mm bolt, or use off your old derailleur) Cheers Gemma

 Q: hi. i have a mtb frame that came with a 27.2mm seatpost fitted on it but i have no idea what the seat tube diameter is. would this derailleur fit my mtb frame? thank you for your help.
A: Hi, Can't say from the seatpost diameter, as that's the internal diameter. It woudl be any of the sizes. You need the outside diameter where the clamp goes. Get a ruler and measure the diameter by eye. Or take a... Continue reading
