We've been avid skiers for many years and skied extensively OS, throughout North America, NZ and Europe. In the past few years we've been moving into the snowboarding area, with the younger kids pushing the limits well beyond ours. However, this does make their transition from snow to surf and back just that much easier, and good for them.
As for us, the worst of overseas ski trips with families has always been lugging all that gear. Why do Dads always get to play pack mule, while the kids always get to play? is it simply karma repaying us for the pains in the butt we were as kids (mind you, we never got ski trips when we were kids)?
