Superintendent Sandra Pullman and her Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad of Lane, Standing and Halford return for a fifth series of New Tricks. The team of grumpy retired coppers are back on the job again, working at the London Metropolitan Police as civilians investigating unsolved crimes and cold cases.

 

Firmly stuck in the past, their unorthodox policing methods clash with the political correctness of a modern Met. But, despite her best efforts to keep them on the straight and narrow, Pullman has to concede that sometimes the rules are there to be broken. Unconventional, original and entertaining, New Tricks is a detective series with a difference.
