This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.

A native of the Mediterranean region and Western Asia it has been known and grown for many years as Love in a Mist for its purplish-blue flowers. The seeds offered are a mix of colours - mauve, lavender, purple, rose, blue and white.

A fast growing, easily grown, hardy annual with attractive fennell-like foliage reaching a mature height of 60cm (24in) with a spread of 20cm (8in). It is fully frost hardy and should be planted in full sun in fertile, well drained soil. Flowering can be prolonged by deadheading if the seeds are not required for next season. If the seed pods are allowed to drop their seed then you can have them come up of their own accord for years.

Offered is a packet of 150 seeds with grow notes to assist you to successfully cultivate this very showy annual.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.

I created Ole Lantana's Seed Store after I retired for health reasons. Previously I had owned and operated a successful wholesale nursery in South East Queensland despite the continuing drought. My interest in plants goes back a long way to when I used to weed my grandfather's strawberry patch, I loved it - he didn't much care for it. Eventually, I went to the University of Queensland and completed formal horticultural studies and my nursery career was launched. Ole Lantana's Seed Store provides a continuing interest in Horticulture in my retirement.
