I purchased the camera back in July 2006.  The Nikon D40 is a great little camera.  It is so easy to use and very light to carry around. 
I am selling because I have upgraded to a D300. 

The shutter count is 6873.

I love this camera a lot and I am sad to be putting it up for sale. 

If you have never used a DSLR before this is an easy camera to start learning from.
