  This lens will fit Nikon Ai-s manual focus mount such as the FM, FE, FM-2, FE-2, N2000, F3, FG-20, FG and FA) as well as most of AF and Digital SLRs like D200, D300, D700, D1, D2, D3.... ( but manual focus only). It's the first Nikkor medium telephoto lens that has been designed with an ED glass employed in its optical design. Packing a good compromise between affordability, portability and first rated optical performance, specifically, with its moderately fast speed of f/2.8 aperture which makes this lens especially useful for shooting in dimly-lit situation making it indispensable for photojournalism, for capturing fast moving events such as in action-packed indoor sports, stage fashion or professional photography where the use of flash shooting is strictly prohibited. Built-in Lens hood. As most Nikon Ai-s lenses of its era it is a masterpiece of mechanical construction.

  Lens is in excellent plus condition, rated 9 out of 10 cosmetically, shows some wears on barrel, mostly on the lens hood. Focusing is smooth, aperture is dry and responsive. No marks or scratch on both ends glasses. Free of fungus or dusts inside. Come with both caps, filter size 72mm. Made in Japan.
