Nikon SB-800 Speedlight - Near MINT Box + Instructions

For sale is a Nikon SB-800 Speedlight in near MINT condition complete with all paperwork including the instruction manual and (unfilled) Nikon warranty registration slip in the original packaging. This item was purchased brand new from an authorised Nikon dealer a few years ago but has seen only occasional amateur use at family gathering etc. I have used only lithium AA batteries to power the unit and these were always removed when it was stored between uses. As is the case with all of my photographic equipment, this item has been stored in an environmentally controlled dust free atmosphere. It is being sold because I have recently purchased an SB-900 for my FX format D SLR.

To my knowledge, the Nikon SB-800 is the only Nikon flagship model flash that is fully backwards compatible with both film and digtal format SLRs. It operates in all Nikon TTL modes - iTTL, DTTL and film TTL. along with a range of other conventional automatic and manual options.
