The larger size of the ATTIX 5 allows you to work longer without emptying the container, and with the wide range of available models, it's difficult to imagine that you won't find a perfect match for your wet or dry vacuum cleaning tasks. The ATTIX 561-21XC by Nilfisk-Alto. (See Attix 5 PDF) This is a very quiet, 57 dB(A) 45 litre heavy duty commercial vacuum cleaner, with a 1500 Watt motor giving an airflow of 60 litre/sec. At a vacuum of 23 kPa.

With it's large rear wheels and front castors, it's very manoeuvrable. It has a 7.5m cable, and for your protection, it comes with a 12 month warranty, covering faulty manufacture and workmanship. It is best supplied with a stainless steel tubed, trade and industrial hose and nozzle kit. Replacement filters are also affordable enough ($100 + GST) to have a couple, which can be rotated each job, vacuumed, washed & dried, enabling them to last a long time, and they are easily fitted by the operators.

This machine differs from it's competitors, being fitted with an automatic filter cleaning mechanism, which works fantastically well, and is best demonstrated by the short video on our home page, www.vacuumdoctor.com.au . In the video, a WHOLE 25 Kg. bag of cement is vacuumed up and the machine doesn't lose suction. Then when the bag is emptied, the machine is opened, showing it full of the cement powder. The machine automatically, blows back through the filter every 30 secs, keeping it clean and retaining highest efficiency.

I've actually carried out a similar job where I sucked up 50 litres of powder-coating paint out of a machine in one hit. The clean side of the filter was as clean as a whistle afterwards, & there was no loss of suction at all during the task.
