For sale - Late 1997 Australian Build, Jungle Green, 4 Speed Auto. with Overdrive. Just Fitted Brand NEW S15 Spec R SR20DET Dual Ball Bearing Garrett GT28R 320hp Turbo Charger at 195000 km, only 8000 km travelled on New Turbo. New Turbo Cost $2200. This brings the car up to the same spec as the latest model SR15 200sx with a whole lot more performance than the original S14 turbo. Car has done a very gently driven 203000 km, testament to this is the fact the first turbo never had serious trouble until 195000 km, when it finally needed replacement. Personally I haven't much tendency toward rev heading. Ask any turbo specialist and they will tell you, these original S14 turbo's rarely made it past 80000 before needing replacement. I am the second owner of the vehicle from New, having purchased the car in immaculate condition just off New at 15000 km in March 1999 from Ken Morgan Nissan, it was apparently previously a short term Nissan executive driven vehicle from new.

This is the top of the line S14 Luxury Model with all luxury features as standard, these include Electronic Sunroof with dual action settings, Front and Rear Spoilers as well as Side Body Skirts along with Driver and Passenger side Airbags and a 6 speaker stereo system. The car has no modifications, aside from the recent upgrade of the turbo charger. Vehicle has been well maintained with regular servicing, and a full service history to show. It is a very clean vehicle inside and out and runs great.
Comes with a road worthy certificate, and 10 months remaining registration till August 2010. Other recent upgrades include a New Laminated Windscreen, & a New Battery.

There is a slight paint delamination issue on the boot lid. Have been advised the boot lid needs sanding back and a re-paint to fix the problem, at a quoted repair price of $300 to $500.

Having driven this car for some time, I can honestly say it is a pleasure to drive, with a very sporty feel to it, as well as great handling and responsive power performance, along with excellent reliability. You would have to go a long way to find such a good driving experience vehicle for such a low price as the Nissan 200sx.
