1: Open the phone, then input *#06#, an IMEI Code will appear (Then check the IMEI on http://www.numberingplans.com/?page=analysis&sub=imeinr), You will see if it is the original or not.
2: Open the phone, then input *#0000#, you will get the original Model/ Brand/ Language etc.

3: No card Slot, all original Nokia 8800 Arte series phones have Built-in Memory. All Accessories Should be Nokia Logo. The package box of 8800 Arte has a big black IMEI Label.

4. Nokia 8800 Arte series are Triband Only.

5. All Nokia 8800 Gold Arte, Carbon Arte & Sapphire Arte have built-in 4GB onboard memory (Not 1GB or 2GB) whereas the normal Nokia 8800 Arte (Black, not Gold, not Carbon, not Sapphire) has only 1GB built-in onboard memory (Not 2GB or 4GB)
