A: Not sure I think it will for eg I am on optus and do use gmaikl and facebook..

 Q: what do you mean by "Preinstalled with 1gig Mini SDCard"? does that mean it can't use any other SD card and/or can't take any more than 1 gig..? Thanks.
A: I've installed a 1gig SD card and yes its removable therefore you could install a larger one. Basically it has a micro SD card slot like may phones on the market
