The descriptions and graphics depicting colors in this listing are only feeble attempts to communicate the outstanding character of the real ink. Words and computer images are not good enough to describe the dramatic in-person effect of these inks.
This listing is for a 3 oz. bottle of Noodler’s Russian Series Ink Tsvetayeva - Red Orange.
Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva (1892 - 1941) was a Russian and Soviet poet and writer. Born in Moscow, her work was not looked kindly upon by Stalin and the Bolshevik régime. Tsvetaeva's poetry arose from her own deeply convoluted personality, her eccentricity and tightly disciplined use of language. Among her themes were female sexuality, and the tension in women's private emotions; she bridges the mutually contradictory schools of Acmeism and symbolism.
We are proud to announce that we have been selected by the manufacturer to distribute Noodler’s Russian Eternal Series of fountain pen inks. These inks commemorate twelve Great Russian Silver Age Artists with inks boasting some very special features. The inks have distinctive labels, all in Cyrillic Russian, with an illustration of the Noodler’s Catfish and his cousin the Sturgeon surrounding the Kremlin with the Russian Federation flag as a background. While these inks may look Bolshevik everything is completely Made in the U.S.A.
The Noodler’s Russian Eternal Series of inks display bright unique colors with extream flourescence. Each is also “Bullrtproof” (пуленепробиваемый) – this means the ink is the most durable fountain pen ink in the world once dry on cellulose paper – Lightfast, Waterproof, Bleach-proof… Eternal. The Russian inks are pH neutral [and should not be mixed with any non-pH neutral inks].
The Russian inks are safe in your new or vintage pen, and are water soluble in the pen. The Russians are unconventional inks and may work better in pens tuned not too tightly (the Noodler’s Eel inks are for those pens). These inks have a vibrant flourescence in daylight, but expose them to fluorescent black light and watch out!
The Russian series is produced by Noodler’s in numbers much smaller than their standard inks. Additionally, the process is more demanding and component materials are more costly. All this adds up to a series of fantastic inks – they’ll blow your носки off.
There are twelve colors in the Russian series:
