Media Adapter and Player

This product can be connected to TV set by several AV output option like HDMI, composite and components video output, and playback your media stored inside your USB hard disk or memory cards. It is helpful to allow your USB hard disk works like a media player.

Media Input From USB Host And Card Reader

There is not hard disk build-in this product, but thanks to the USB2.0 high speed USB host and multi card reader, you can plug in your USB storage devices like USB hard disk, USB flash drive and MP3 player, or insert your memory cards like SD card, SDHC, MMC or Memory stick, than playback your media from these storage devices.

HDMI Digital output

With a HDMI interface design-in, digital audio can output to TV with HD video signal. It enable user connect his video connection very easily.

RM10 has several output interfaces, including the analog audio-video output interface (AV), the YPbPr output interface, the HDMI output interface, and the Hi-Fi digital audio optical output. You may select output interfaces that suit your personal need.

Digital Audio (Optical) Output interface:

When using the optical output mode, use the optical signal cable to connect the optical output interface of the Product and the optical input interface of the stereo, and you can enjoy the 5.1 soundtrack Hi-Fi quality.

Connect the product optical connector with the other one from video or audio device by optical cable. Then enter the product's audio interface, select the Digital Output option "SPDIF/RAW " or "SPDIF /PCM". It is available to enjoy 5.1 high quality sounds through a multi channel decoder/amplifier with optical input.

Three Video Output Interface for TV Connection:

The product is designed with multi-output, including composite (AV), component (YPbPr) and HDMI. Individuals can select different interface according various need. The product can detect video output automatically, making the operation friendly and convenient.

Composite (CVBS) Output (AV)

When using the AV output mode, use the yellow signal cable to connect the AV output interface of the Product and the AV input interface of the TV, and use the white cable and the red cable to connect the audio output of the Product to the audio input interface of the TV or Hi-Fi. Turn on the TV, choose “AV” mode, boot up the Product, and the TV will display the UI of the Product.

Component (Progressive scan video) Output (YPbPr)

When using the YPbPr output interface mode, use the YPbPr signal cable to connect the YPbPr output interface of the Product and the YPbPr input interface of the TV, and since the red, blue and green signal cables are only for video output, you need to use the red and white AV cables to connect the audio of the Product to the TV, or use an optical cable to connect to the audio input interface of the Hi-Fi. Turn on the TV, choose “YPbPr” mode, boot up the Product, and the TV will display the UI of the Product.

HDMI Output MODE

HDMI is a output features the simultaneous output of digital audio and video, the easiest connection and the best audio-video quality. When using the HDMI output mode, use the HDMI signal cable to connect the HDMI output interface of the Product and the HDMI input interface of the display device, and switch the TV to HDMI mode until the UI of the Product shows up.

Boot up the Product, and the boot screen will show the connected storage device and the setup menu. If there are several storage devices inserted, the icons of cards and hard disks connected will show on the main interface, and you can press the direction keys of the remote control to enter the storage device you want to use. Under the main interface, you may select the movie, music or graphic files of the external USB and card reader to browse and play.

Picture Viewing:

In the main interface, enter a storage device, and the files under the current directory will be set out. Press the direction keys to preview the files, or press “Picture” on the remote control to directly enter the picture view mode. The Product supports high-resolution JPG and BMP formats, you may press “Zoom” to zoom in the pictures with four effects: 2X, 4X, 8X, and 16X. Press direction keys to move the zoomed-in pictures up and down, right and left. The product supports picture slideshow with 8 different effects. If the picture files and the music files are in the same folder, background music can also be enjoyed. Press “Slideshow” to enjoy the pictures and music all at once.

Music Playing:

In the main interface, enter a storage device, and the files under the current directory will be set out. Press the direction keys to preview the files, or press “Music” on the remote control to directly enter the music play mode. Press direction key to select music files, and press OK key to play. The Product supports multiple audio formats, including MP3, WMA, WAV, etc. When playing MP3 or WMA files, please make sure the lyric file (LRC format) and the music file are of the same name and stored in the same folder. The lyric will be displayed in a synchronized way.

Movies Playing:

In the main interface, enter a storage device, and the files under the current directory will be set out. Press the direction keys to preview the files, or press “Movie” on the remote control to directly enter the movie play mode.

Press direction key to select movie files, and press OK key to play full-screen. The Product supports multiple video decoding formats, including MPEG 1/2/4, Divx, Xvid, etc., and can play multiple video formats such as AVI, MPG, VOB and DAT. In addition, the Product also supports breakpoint movie play. Before cancelling the movie, press “Breakpoint memory” to mark the current movie-playing position, and next time you boot up the Product, press “Breakpoint memory” and the movie will start from where it stops last time.

MPEG4 Subtitle Operation: The Product supports subtitle file formats including SSA, SMI, SRT and SUB. Make sure the subtitle file and the video file are in the same folder. Press “Subtitle” to select subtitle, and select video file, press “OK” to enter movie play mode. When playing video, press “Subtitle” to show/hide subtitle.

Text Viewing:

The Product can display TXT-format text files. In the main interface, enter a storage device, and the files under the current directory will be set out. Press the direction keys to preview the files, or press “Text” on the remote control to directly enter the text view mode. Press direction key to select text files, and press “OK” to view full-screen. With the Product, you can read TXT texts, online novels, or do some commercial text display, all on your TV.
