About the Item

Up for sale today is a great bike. Although the frame is a 2004 model, it was purchased early 2009 and built with high end gear and used for 3 months only. The ride is great and everything works as expected. There are a few scracthes here and there, but nothing you would not expect on a mountain bike that has around 3 months use.

The suspension on this bike is great. Both ends are air sprung and offer plenty of adjustments via an FSR pivot arangment (same as used on specialized bikes). The fork has rebound and lockout adjustment, as well as Terralogic- which is an auto lockout feature, again similar to Specialized's 'Brain' technology. It is adjustable with a blue knob on the lower of the fork, you can set this from very firm to soft. The rear shock has a manual lockout also, as well as rebound adjustment and AVA control. This is the large bolt on the shock body. It controls the bottom out of the shock. Very effective!

This bike is also tubeless ready. All you need are some tubeless tyres and valve strips. A bit of stans sealant would help too. This is a great way to avoid pesky punctures. The wheels are very light and quite high end. Tyres are still in good shape, wheels are round and true, all gears work as they should.

I am 6' and found the bike just big enough. I would recommend this bike to people shorter than 6'.
