STORAGE

Sunless Solution is a specially formulated and carefully PH balanced recipe for providing the best, most natural looking tan colour possible. You will get excellent results with normal use in average conditions. If the product is stored improperly its performance can be affected. Solution must be carefully stored to maintain its freshness, performance, consistency and colour.

Following a few steps can eliminate the issues:-

Heat

The solution should be stored in a cool environment. Maintaining a maximum temperature between 16 and 25 degrees will ensure long term storage. Repeated or prolonged storage at high temperature will destroy the products tanning effectiveness. Refrigerating the solution after it has been opened is recommended.

Exposure to Light

Due to the natural properties of the natural ingredience in the Solution, DO NOT store it in direct sunlight. The solution will NOT spoil from incidental exposure, however repeated or prolonged exposure will reduce the products effectiveness.

Oxygenation

Prolonged exposure to air is also detrimental to the effectiveness of DHA solutions. Never leave the cap off of open containers of solution for long periods of time. DHA based sunless solutions depend on quality and careful handling to assure effectiveness.

Solution Types

            Medium Tinted – Most effective for skin types Light to Medium

            Dark Tinted  - Most effective for skin types Medium to Dark.

The Browning Action

An emulsion of DHA is applied to the skin; a brown “tan” forms in about 2 to 3 hours. The tan continues to darken for up

6 hours. The tan is water resistant and diminishes only as skin cells flake off. DHA interacts with the amines, peptides and free amino acids in the top layer of skin. DHA reacts with the skins amino acids to form a ketoimin / Melanin.

Erythrulose

Erythrulose is an additional bronzing ingredient add. It reacts with the skin in much the same way

as DHA. Erythrulose reacts much more slowly than DHA developing colour just as DHA colour is beginning to fade. This

enhances the life of your sunless tan.
