This interesting project was recently completed in the workshops of our 'Bulahdelah Alum & Timber Company'. After numerous requests for more structure kits, we have developed an attractive and unusual corrugated iron Church, based on an actual prototype located in the Central Western region of New South Wales. Just the thing for your mine or mill village!

Our O scale 1:48 scale design offers the following traditional features: 

• real wood frame construction with studs & noggins
• full size (1:1) layout templates for ease of construction
• timber base plate supplied  
• optional entry vestibule with working door
• optional 'kitchenette' with working door
• die-cast 'brick' fireplace and chimney supplied
• one piece cast resin corrugated water tank included
• traditional corrugated iron cladding
• traditional 45 degree roof pitch
• simple working corrugated iron shutters (as per prototype) 
• 3-14 v DC lighting included
  

Note: kit can be ordered in iron siding as pictured or 'weather-board' as in our Mill Manager's Cottage kit.

Prototype History:

Our Church is an exact replica of an unusual corrugated iron prototype, St Mathews (R/C) which still stands at Lowther on the Jenolan Caves road, west of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales.
