Ozsteam 1:48 Working Steam Crane Kit

This stunning project was recently completed in the workshops of our 'Bulahdelah Alum & Timber Company'. Our original Steam Crane kit was extremely popular but we thought it time to update and improve on the original design. This little beauty will be the envy of your friends as it is a fully operational kit! Although designed mainly for static display, the cab slews through 360 degrees and by winding the two gypsies either side of the steam engine, you can actually operate the clam-shell bucket and we've even included the Boom Support Car!
The complete 300 part kit consists of several separate easy-to-build sub-assemblies which fit together with enough options to let you build a very unique model indeed. Use it as a working Crane or rig the optional clam-shell bucket, lay out the alternative boiler steam piping options where you want, position the levers and crew where you wish - it's your choice!
