This remarkable adaptation was developed in the workshops of our 'Bulahdelah Alum & Timber Company'. We have taken an O scale die-cast log winch kit from Crow River and added our miniature 25:1 planetary gear-head motor kit. The original winch kit is very comprehensive with die cast metal parts but was never actually designed to operate so we supply the necessary parts and information for you to modify and motorize the kit into a fully operational forward and reverse, model winch.

As the motor draws less than 300 milliamps, it may be possible for you to run it from the main motor output (or function OP) of most DCC decoders.
