Carezza leathers are 100% natural. Our semi-aniline leather is richly dyed and treated with a hand-rubbed finish, which is skillfully applied to produce a smooth, lustrous finish that allows the beauty of the natural grain to show through.
Every hide used on our sofas has its own unique character, showing the creases and scars of a natural product. We go to great lengths to use only the highest quality uncorrected semi-aniline leather, but the inevitable markings are just part of the individual appearance on this furniture. Wrinkles, bites, warble fly marks, scars and creases are common on leather furniture and it is these marks that distinguish genuine leather from man-made look-a-likes. The markings on each hide tell the life story of the animal and are proof of the natural product. It would be impossible to hide them without destroying the beauty and softness of the material.
The comfort is in the construction. Our frames are all made from sturdy hardwood and the seats are constructed with traditional eight-way hand-tied upholstery techniques to ensure years of comfort. Carezza chooses the most comfortable fillings for its cushions, to achieve both a functional and beautiful piece of furniture. Foam interiors give it resilience, and a fibre wrap adds a softer layer. Of course, with initial use your cushions will become slightly softer, but after a few month's normal use, it should not change any further. Plump up the cushions regularly to separate the fillings and allow in air to retain the softness and comfort.
While we don't like to boast too much about what we do, we are very proud of the quality of our furniture. That is why we guarantee our sofa frames for 10 years.
Each sofa frame is carefully constructed using the finest hardwoods and the seating structure is eight-way hand-tied using traditional upholstery techniques for added support and comfort. What this means to you, is that it's extremely robust and can take plenty of daily couch potato activity.
However, we don't discriminate against your leather, cushion fillings, zips or stitching. They are also covered by a warranty for the first year of the sofa's life. While we are happy to rectify any defects, we cannot be held responsible for reasonable wear and tear, or for staining, excessive soiling, abrasion, tears and burns, natural cushion interior settlement and flattening. Please always follow the care instructions, as use of cleaning materials may damage the leather.
