Please note the 15 metre test is used for the Police and Fire Brigade and the 20 metre test is used for the Military including the Royal Marines and Parachute Regiment. A lot of ebayers are selling the 20 metre test and stating this is for the Police which is not true. Another point to note is the most of the 20 metre tests available on ebay are of the old tape rcorded version so the sound quality is very poor.

You are looking at the 15 and 20 metre bleep test, also known as the VO2 MAX test.

I sell both the 15 and 20 metre tests on a single cd. You will also receive a second cd which includes full instructions as well as a VO2 max results table, female and male analysis tables a score record table as well as 5 training programs and 5 eating programs you can follow to get fit for selection, which you are free to save to your pc and print out. You can also upload the audio tracks to your pc to then transfer to an mp3 player.

This is the test that the Military, including the Royal Marine Commandos and the Paras use, as well as the Police Force and the Fire Brigade.

I have completed tests both in the Royal Marine Commandos and 2 separate Police Forces and these are the tests you will receive.

 The principle of this test is to run between 2 markers set at either 15 or 20 metres apart, depending on what test you are doing. The level you obtain shows your maximal oxygen uptake, known as VO2 MAX.

You must reach each marker as the bleep sounds, turn quickly and run to the next marker in time for the next bleep. The bleeps get closer together, so as you run through the test it gets harder as you are having to run faster and faster.

This is a great way to increase your fitness levels to a really high standard and prepare for your selection.

CD 1

 Track 1

 This is the 15 metre test – this is used for the Police Force and Fire Brigade. The Police Force down graded their test to level 5.4, whereas the Fire Brigade still train to level 8.1.

Track 2

This is the 20 metre test which is used for the Royal Marines and Paras.  To pass the selection you have to get to level 13
