Here is an old Crown Ovenware biscuit or cookie jar in good condition with some dark crazing inside and on the bottom . I'm guessing this would be from the 1930's - 40's but not sure . There are two tiny hairline cracks in the rim opposite each other . They are in pictures 3 and 4 . There is some light discoloration that may come off with a good cleaning . The gold trimmings are in very good condition and the jar measures 7 " tall and 6 1/2 " in diameter . Crown Potteries was in business from 1902 to 1962 in Evansville , IN .  This would be a very nice addition to your period kitchen !
