This Authentic glass fishing float was found on Hokkaido Island of northern Japan.   This float has a small thick spindle from the seal button to the side of the glass.  The spindle measures about 1.5cm (half an inch) Float measures 3 inches in diameter. Please click on the photo for a close-up. 




Our Japanese hand made fishing floats were made and used by fishermen from Hokkaido Island of northern Japan and considered by collectors to be ‘real’ and authentic..  In Japan Glass fishing floats are being replaced by plastic and polystyrene making authentic glass fishing floats highly collectable.     We use Express Fedex to ship to USA. $6 to post within Australia. All Fedex and Courier prices quoted include insurance.
