These attractive and tasty, specialty onions mature early and are uniquely attractive either topped or bunched. Purplette turns a nice pastel pink colour when cooked or pickled. Ideal for picking young as spring onions with purple ends or leave them to form pickling size onions, Fantastic on kebabs.. Sow seed anytime at 3-4 week intervals for a constant harvest. 60 days for spring onions longer for small onions.
