This is an American book from 1996 that introduces you to Jinny Beyer's colour system which will simplify all your colour choices. Her concept of a master palette for quilters revolutionised the quilting field, making it easy to create hundreds of breathtaking colour combinations. The 124 colours from Jinny Beyer's Palette, now an industry standard, have been reproduced in this book with instructions on how to create your own master palette. By using these paper "swatches" or actual fabrics you will create an indispensible tool for learning to see colour in new and dynamic ways. The book shows you how to: make and use a master colour palette - use shading, deep darks, and accents - focus your fabric choices - recognise and use visual texture - select colours to coordinate with specific fabrics or colour schemes - create individual colour palettes for all your projects. As well as this you are provided with: a fold-out page featuring two master palettes - 124 colour chips to cut out and use - templates and instructions for creating a wide variety of exciting quilt designs.

Condition: this is a new softcover book in very good condition apart from a few light surface scuffs and a very small bump to the bottom corner of the back (I have reduced the price accordingly from the usual $65.00).

Packaging

All books and other items are sent in a bubble wrap lined padded bag both to overseas destinations and within Australia to ensure that they arrive at their new homes in excellent condition. If a book is a softcover, I also include a piece of stiffening cardboard so that the bag cannot be bent en route. All items of A4 size or smaller are sent in a plastic cover for extra protection.
