JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!

Acrylic and oil painting on canvas over wooden stretchers. Sides are painted with the painting extending around the edges. Varnished for protection. Signed on front of canvas with date on back (2009).

Where I previously lived there were often dolphins passing smoothly by in the ocean. Sometimes jumping out of the water like this one or just skimming over the surface. The smooth fluidity of their movements have always fascinated me. Seeing them always fills me with joy. I often think they may sometimes just be jumping for joy.

The computer image may not show the subtle colour variations that are in the actual painting, as in the painting these are usually more vibrant in real life. Please remember that different monitor settings may slightly alter the way the colours are displayed.
