Walter Reed, character actor,  played Corrigan in "Superman and the Mole-Men." He guest starred in "77 Sunset Strip" and he did a serial for Republic Pictures called "Government Agents vs. the Phantom Legion," among loads of other things. He was also in a 1957 Superman episode called "Atomic Captive." He and George were great friends ever since a play they did together in the 1940s, and so they remained throughout the troubled superhero's life.
