LOVEY IDEAL SAUCY WALKER DRESS & MATCHING PANTS

FOR 21/22" DOLL - EXCELLENT CONDITION

 

This outfit it in excellent "CLEAN" condition with no holes etc. I saw a small mark on the front of the dress, and in my wisdom, tried to remove it by sponging it with water. It flattened the material in that area - I should have left the mark where it was!!!  It is quite rare to find the dress with matching pants. It has been packed away and I haven't dressed any dolls in the outfit and doubt whether it has ever been on a doll. The photo is not very clear as the bodice has 4 little light blue buttons where the 2 pieces of red bias binding criss-cross. Also, the true colour is in the first photo.

NOTE:-  I have just found the original listing of this lovely item and therefore will give you more information~~ The ORIGINAL IDEAL 1950'S SAUCY WALKER DRESS & PANTIES would fit a 22" doll. The dress & matching panties are in near mint condition with only a couple of pinhead age/storage marks. Ideal did not put tags on their Saucy Walker dresses but it has the Ideal white swirl buttons for closure. The fabric is cotton waffle pique' that was used in the 1950's for their doll dresses. This adorable dress has a high "empire" waistline and measures 11 1/2" long and 5" shoulder to shoulder. The dress is colourful with aqua, navy blue and white and trimmed with red and yellow piping. The dress still remains crisp, the white material is nice and bright (no yellowing or dirty marks) no storage odours and it has never been washed~~
