OLD BRASS BELL (Shop or school)

Estate item:  Vintage brass bell with ceiling fitting. As it came from a retired teachers estate we have made an assumption that this is from a school. We do not have any provenace and so its only an educated guess. Some nice person has tried to paint it blue. We have taken some off with mineral turps to show that it is all brass but sorry to say further tlc is required to fetch it back to life. Good clacker with sharp tone. Size: Bell 130mm. With fitting 200m. Width 140mm. Has new rope handle fitted. Insured postal charge within Australia $12.
