 ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Daniella Jones and I am an award winning Wildlife Artist and have been creating artworks for over 20 years.  My artwork is shown in many exhibitions and galleries and I have my art pieces hanging in client’s houses and businesses all over Australia and the world.  In 1998 I successfully completed my Certificate III in Illustration I then went on to successfully complete a Certificate III in Photography and Certificate IV in Advanced Digital Design. At that time I began to focus my art mainly towards wildlife especially Australian Native Animals. I reside in Kuranda, North Queensland surrounded by lush rainforests and National Parks which provides me with plenty of inspiration for my art works. I’ve experimented with many different art mediums over the years but found I particularly enjoyed the rich and intense colours of soft pastels.
