The downhill grip has stoppers on either end to help prevent the hand slipping off on a rough downhill. The downhill grip is not only for downhill, it just gives you extra grip in just about everything situation you can get yourself into on your bike!

With over 35 years experience in manufacturing ONLY grips, OURY has produced one of the worlds most comfortable, affordable, soft and durable grips.

The Oury grip is made of Kraton-type rubber and has a soft supple feel. Something different about the downhill grip is that it tapers in thickness from the bar end to the center. There are small ridges at the inner end which help position your thumb. In the palm area, the grip has large square blocks, giving broad surface contact, while being able to compress away and give with a large shock. The downhill grip has deep square grooves between each of the rows of blocks permitting wire or zip tie fastening to the handlebar and water evacuation to the lower side of the grip so it will fall off. There is a flange at the inner and outer ends so the rider can blindly slide their hand to the bar end.

These grips are one of the most popular grips in the world. They weigh 102 grams per pair, have a durometer hardness of A/29, are 4.7 inches in length.
