OIlily USA - Oilily Files for Bankruptcy, Has Closed 8 Stores.
Oilily USA, which owes money to over 200 creditors, cited assets between $1 million and $10 million, along with debts of more than $10 million. It was stated “The good news is we have no secured creditors, we have cash, and we intend to stay in operations and successfully emerge from Chapter 11,” said Marilyn Simon, the lawyer handling bankruptcy proceedings for Oilily.
Oilily Europe (Netherlands) - Oilily In the autumn of 2010 collections launch again (this will be Spring in Australia). This is done in cooperation with children's brand Room Seven, not coincidentally the brand of Brechtje Olsthoorn, daughter of the founders of Oilily. Keep in mind the Collection ‘Shimmering Winter Walz Autumn/Winter 09-10’ had finished production some time ago & the collection was shown rather early this year.

Since its founding Willem and Marieke Olsthoorn brand Oilily have bought back are three of their four children at the helm of the new company. Brechtje Olsthoorn of Room Seven designer would probably be the new Oilily. Now the co-operation by a press release officially confirmed. The two collections that are planned for autumn 2010 an Oilily Newborn Collection for babies and an Oilily Children's Classic Collection for children under 12 years. The design of the new women's fashion collection is designer Wilma de Groot.The brand operates from Oilily in Alkmaar whilst the business leadership in the hands of Geert Olsthoorn.
