Here is a gorgeously constructed Victorian Austrian jewelry box. The condition for its age is excellent. On the feet of the box there are 6 bezzled set blue stones/gems on each foot. (a total of 24) The bottom of the box has a beautiful design of butterflies. Absolutely stunning craftsmanship. The box is 4 3/4" by 3 6/16" and 3 1/4" tall. The top itself is 3 14/16" by 4 2/16". On the inside of the box is velvet lining, which is in great condition.
