I have for sale this lovely old English Oak bureau, writing desk with pigeonholes, one drawer and cupboard with shelf underneath. It is in fantastic condition for its age and has a lovely rich warm patina, with fantastic wood grain features and its very solid and well built. I bought it years ago and from the antique gallery at Tyab and it cost me a fortune at the time. It needs two handles for the drawer, which can be bought just about anywhere, I found some lovely ones at knobs and knockers in Brighton but never got around to putting them on and cant find them now (if i do you can have them) It doesnt have a key but i have used a tassel for opening it. It has old brass fittings for the pull out bits that the desk part sits on. Please let me know if you need any other onfo.
