Okay - turned it on (why me??) & I get hum that increases with volume (played a guitar though it and it sounds GREAT otherwise). Bad news.
Good news!!!
The 'money' parts (transformers) are obviously okay & it probably only requires a simple re-cap!!!! Other possibility is that the input for the movie input part should be shorted out or disconnected.
 
I think any decent repair-person could bring this back. Would also recommend a full recap, new tubes, the usual stuff. Do the full restoration. Tube lineup:
(3) 25L6, (1) 6Sl7, (1) 6AK5
 
This should be a decent project for someone with skill (not me!).
PLEASE do not bid on this unless you do amp  maintenance repair work or know someone who does! That being said - a good opportunity to get a cool old USA Filmosound (Bell & Howell) AMP for PEANUTS! Sold - 'as-is' , project and/or restoration only. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! .
