What is an Olympus Factory Demo?

In most cases an Olympus Factory Demo is a unit that has been used as an Olympus display piece or as a "Salesman's Sample". They have never been owned by a consumer and have minimal to no use. Each unit is individually checked and tested before it is shipped to us from Olympus. Where some may have small marks or slight imperfections in the finish, it is important to note that the unit is in brand new operating condition and is covered by Cameta Camera's warranty for one full year on all parts and labor.

The autofocus function was adjusted for IR and working well.
Due to the difference in Infrared wavelengths an adjustment to the autofocus point is made.
Whenever shooting IR stopping down a couple of stops will always lead to sharper focus with any lens.
This means that you should shoot in with the aperture from f/4 and up. The photos will get maximum quality in the range of f/5.6 – f/22
Attempting to shoot at aperture from f/1.2 to f/2.8 may/may not lead to back focus but nothing wrong and you can control it very easy.

The body was tested with many lens (old and new lens working well).

No sensitivity lost in IR conversion!
