On30 Scale (1:48). This new kit is one of a series of On30 'easy to assemble' rural structures, designed to give your layout that typical 'backwoods' look.
We have designed this kit along the lines of remains of trestle structures found near Simsville, Stroud in New South Wales. The kit features all wood construction but to give added realism, we have supplied optional Nut, Bolt and Washer sets which can be fitted after the trestles are built. Note: pictures show our prototype model. (2-8-0 locomotive and track are not included in the kit)
The comprehensive kit contains enough timber to construct the three trestles as pictured as well as the track support logs. Simply add more kits to increase the bridge length!
Trestles can be made shorter or used on a climbing and or curved bridge.
We have written comprehensive instructions with layout templates and packaged all the items you need together so that anyone with a little time and patients can build this kit. (See also our 2 road engine shed Kit from this series)
See our Ebay Store 'Steam in the Bush' for more logging & mining equipment, flatcar loads and narrow gauge items.
