This popular kit from the workshops of our 'Bulahdelah Alum & Timber Company' has been recently revised with additional parts to make a real working log winch! We retain our 'easy to assemble' and removable 'tropical' cab, hardwood planked footplate but our steam winch/PTO (power take off) now sports a geared drive from the steam donkey engine. Easily modify your own Climax with our custom parts and instructions.

The Bachmann On30 Climax is a superb model. Designed after the Shay, the model Climax locomotive features improved mechanical performance and even more detail in the cab. Not all Climax locos operated in the snow so let it breathe! With our kit, you can remove the cab, add even more detail and we provided all the info you need to modify your Climax to suit your needs.
