ASO Ankle Brace Features:
- Elastic cuff closure wraps around high above the ankle joint to decrease the amount of inversion possible.
- Supports the ankle with "figure 8" straps that are made from ballistic nylon to truly stabilize the ankle joint while performing running or cutting in athletic sport activities. More than an ankle wrap, these "figure 8" straps replicate ankle taping to ensure against "rolling over" while playing sports. The figure eight straps lock the heel in place just like with an athletic tape job for better overall support and control of motion. This improved control of the rear foot translates into better protection against an ankle sprain or fracture. The rest of the base is composed of ballistic nylon for superior strength. Ballistic nylon is the strongest nylon available for ankle supports.
- This product is a low profile sport ankle brace, and will fit in any type of athletic or walking shoe. The brace should be worn over an athletic sock for comfort.
