The TX-SR601 provides not only a pulse-pounding 150 watts of power, but also Onkyo exclusives such as WRAT (Wide Range Amplifier Technology) and VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry). These work with the latest sound formats, such as Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES and DTS 96/24, to create a truly diffuse sound field.

All of this power is provided by a newly designed High Current Power Supply (H.C.P.S.) transformer to anchor an impressively built receiver that stands above the competition. Combine this with user-friendly features such as color-coded inputs and outputs, crossover adjustment for bass management and quality build featuring a sturdy Absolute Ground Plate and bus bars, and you have a new definition of what "industry standard" means.
