Beautiful 4 sided pyramid with front panel opening to reveal mirrored base and selenite crystal

The fascination that I have always had for the architectural masterpiece that is the great pyramid of Giza and my love for natural gemstones have combined to bring you this original handmade piece. It has been cut out and then constructed by hand using the finest quality spectrum glass. Each piece takes about 2 days to complete. The front panel opens to reveal a mirrored base and inside is a beautiful piece of crystal.

The yellow glass which forms 2 sides of the pyramid is created when white opal is hand mixed into a moving stream of cathedral colour forming a wispy opalescent glass. This gives reflection and depth to the glass which I feel is truly beautiful and is one of my favourite pieces of glass to work with. I have placed pyramids around the front and back base to highlight the shape of the pyramid.

The other two sides are a clear ice crystal effect with an iridescent surface which gives off all colours of the rainbow even when not in direct sunlight.  The front of the pyramid opens to reveal a mirrored base which reflects the interior of the pyramid back in onto itself.

This piece makes a beautiful and unique gift with the selenite crystal inside. Selenite is named for Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. It provides clarity for the mind, quickly unblocks stagnant energy and instills a deep sense of peace. The pyramid is said to intensify the healing qualities of the crystal.
