This original watercolour painting of an old temple is by Duy Thai. He was born in Haiphong, Vietnam and began painting watercolours in his youth. He saved money from his work sold locally and travelled to Czechoslovakia and Germany where he studied art for 13 years.

Duy returned to Vietnam and began applying his now refined techniques to familiar subjects found in SE Asia. Duy has a talent for capturing quintessential Asia and his work has been exhibited in his home country as well as abroad.

This watercolour painting is original and is signed by the artist. The painting is framed in cream card and to ensure safe delivery will be sent with protective boards on both sides.

The painting measures 14.5cm x 8.5cm without card and 35.5cm x 28.5cm with card.
