This picture by photographer Richard McGuire shows the raging Mississippi River (not to be confused with the American river of the same name) as it flows through Blakeney, Ontario, Canada. The slow exposure of the rapids give them an oil painting effect. A lone red maple sapling stands out in sharp contrast to the grey waters. The low-res web image doesn't do it justice, but you can see a slightly better image by clicking here.
