An early original "FORD" chrome metal badge, possibly for grill, bonnet or bumper bar application?

It is about 4 3/4" between tips and about 1 1/2" wide with two mounting pins toward the bottom and a threaded socket with matching original unusual screw at the top. I THINK the numbers on the rear are 4887 J 15 J1A 7004402"

There are spots where the chrome (very shiny) is missing but the metal looks to be in nice shape with all mounts etc quite functional.

A nice original example of this early Ford badge.
