Two victorian era cast iron door knobs (door pulls). This matching pair would be ideal for double doors. The manufacturer is A.K. & SONS. The design is No 26. The registered design is 191106.

The knobs are 70mm diameter and the assembly protrudes 85mm from the door surface.

I have stripped off the many layers of paint that have been protecting them for so long. I suppose they could be left as iron, lacquered (spray can of Wattyl Clear Finish - Incralac) or replated. They could be plated in brass, nickel or something else depending on your colour scheme. I contacted Cook & Sons electroplaters in Brisbane and they estimated $60 each for brass plating (07 3351 8555 www.scookandsons.com.au)
